Our first-born is SIX years old today...

Graham,

Love muffin, sweetie pie, doodle bug, pooh-bear, Mista McGoo, suga-booga, son-o-mine, sunshine...6 years ago you made me a MOMMA. It is my privilege to be yours, D.G. I will never forget the moment our eyes met just after you took your first breath...I remember saying to Daddy (with happy tears streaming down my face..."now I know what God's love is." It is so cool to see how God has given you gifts and talents that are unique to you, son. At age 6 you:

*love to draw (especially people, and action scenes)

*enjoy playing Wii (you'd play all DAY if we'd just let you! :) with Daddy

*love your friends

*feel burdened when you or those you love aren't making good choices

*walk in the door from school and chase Charly all around the house until both of you are panting and out of breath

*would sleep in until 8:30 every day if you didn't have school

*harass your sister, but fiercely protect her when anyone else thinks about it

*don't like to talk on the phone

*still want to play with my hair when you're tired or not feeling well

*still want to repeatedly kiss and hug your momma and daddy goodbye-even in front of your buddies at school :)

*enjoy doing homework (most nights)

*would rather do just about anything other than bathe or brush your teeth

*love to play Star Wars and Lego best of all

*are precious and dearly loved, Graham!
